I love that this farm is using the entire lamb and not wasting any of the animal. We received lung, spleen and liver lamb treats. The dogs love them and I appreciate that these are straight from a farm in the good ol' USA and not made at some factory in China. The treat size is based on the organ. The lung was perfect sized about 2 inches cubed. The spleen would be good for small dogs. I will certainly purchase again.

I purchased 3 lbs of this ground lamb to make pureed baby food. I was pleased to see that this farm strictly raises their animals in nature...it made me feel better about giving my 6 month old this meat. I tried it myself and it was just perfect. It arrived super fast and still cold despite the 90 degree temperature.

We'd never had goat meat before, but I thought I'd try it as an Easter dinner change from lamb. We like strong-flavored meat, so we assumed that goat would taste somewhat gamier than lamb. The mild, delicate flavor was a real surprise. Delicious, and so tender! Just enough fat to make a very tasty gravy; and our neighbor's dog loved the bones. Since the shanks are smaller than lamb shanks, they took only about 45 minutes to roast, leaving them still pink and juicy in the center. I will definitely order these again--can't wait to try them grilled on the barbie--and I REALLY like the idea of supporting small farms that know how to raise their animals: with love and respect.

It has also inspired me to try new ones. The quality is always great and customer service is also top notch. I will be refering friends to buy from this farm and be a loyal customer for years to come. Thank you Shepherd Song Farms!!

This is the owners daughter's best friend who has never even tried their lamb or any other meat they sell. Let alone ever been to their farm. She lives in Alaska.
