Phoenix Hill Farm is one of the most inviting farms. If you like them on facebook you can go to one of their many events at their house and feel connected to where your food is grown.

Ryan and Mike have put a lot of thought into everything that they do, from where they buy their soil media to start seedlings in the spring, to where they buy their high quality feed for their animals. They are brilliant and lovely people who care endlessly for the earth. Although not certified organic, they use all organic feed with no corn in the diets of their animals.

I love eating their pork, knowing that it came from a happy and healthy animal, not to mention that it is the tastiest! It has been a pleasure to make their food a part of my diet and encourage you to do the same. I encourage everyone to become a localvore and eat local foods during all seasons. Having access to high quality local meats is a very important aspect of eating local food!

Phoenix Hill Farm goes beyond your expectations as a regular Joe consumer. It's a daily reminder of how hard work and smart, simple choices can change your life. Ryan Ferdinand and Mike Hvizda really try to push hard to change the world for better and I admire that.

We have ordered pork from them and the quality is far superior to anything my family has ever had before. I do not think I could express in words the difference, both in taste and the effect it has on you mentally knowing you are doing good things for yourself.

The American culture is not set up to feed people good food. It is a system designed for convenience and appeasing the salt and sugar desires of the human body. My recommendation (speaking as a person who is literally just a regular dude in the daily grind of life) is to follow their page on Facebook and just slowly learn because they will teach you and you will see the good start to seep into your life.

Order some food (Mike even brought it to us) and savor it. Phoenix Hill Farm has multiple purchase options. You can get everything from a whole pig down to some slabs of bacon. They have lots of other things but as you can tell from their immediately iconic logo that the pig is where it is at.

Such great quality. They take care of their animals, treat them very well and in turn it provides high quality sustenance for human beings.

I do not usually write long-winded reviews of anything but I think it is important because I am not in the permaculture community. I am not a farmer and I am certainly not an expert but I do know leaps and bounds of human progress when I see it and I hope that more people move towards this way of life.
