My girlfriend and I visited the Parks farm, and Darrell showed us his hogs and even let us hold his piglets. Very much worth the short trip out of town. His pigs are very well cared for and seemed very happy. Plus, the pork has been a TREAT. Happy pigs makes happy people!

As our family is attempting to purchase meat products closer to home, we had the opportunity to try some Parks Pasture Pork this past summer and fall.

Mr. park is a friendly farmer who answers any question put to him concerning his products. We initially purchased a couple of pounds of both his sausage and ground pork, and were very pleased with both items. The sausage is mild, very lean and without the additives found in name brand product, at about the same price!

We have made a habit of purchasing five pounds at a time of Parks awesome ground pork. It is so flavorful, we have eaten patties of it alone, with sides. The taste is so close to enjoying a high quality white meat pork chop. Our family actually prefers it to ground beef in pasta sauce and chilli. When cooking the ground pork for sauce, it is so lean, I add a little olive oil so the meat does not stick to the pan. Excellent products, very nice, great service!
