Simpaug Farms brought joy & health to my family!
By: Kerry Ducey    (Feb 14, 2013)

For the first time last year, we signed up to receive a share of the Simpaug Farm crop (CSA).

I have to tell you, the CSA did more than provide our family with fresh, healthy produce and eggs. It brought our family together. We enjoyed spending time in the kitchen creating a variety of amazing dishes (from sweet to savory).

Each week's share was fresh and bountiful. What's more, going to pick up our shares was a delight as we chatted with the farm owners and learned a great deal about the season's harvest.

Healthy eating at its best!
By: Theresa Santoro    (Feb 8, 2013)

We, for the first time, joined the CSA at Simpaug Farms in 2012. Each week, we received a bounty of the freshest, most delicious produce and eggs we have ever tasted. It was the highlight of my week to pick up a variety of seasonal, local fresh food and load them into 2-3 huge bags. Being incredibly adventurous and creative in the kitchen quickly followed. At the pick up site, not only were we greeted with the most pleasant enthusiastic workers but we also picked up a tip or two on how to best shuck an ear of corn or how to best peel a hard boiled egg! Food is one of life's great pleasures and a healthy diet is one of the pillars of good health. Belonging to the CSA at Simpaug Farms helped us live more healthfully and nutritionally sound! We will definitely sign up again in 2013 and can't wait for it to begin all over again. Just the thought of those small, sweet grape tomatoes that were finished in the car even before I got home...... Check out this CSA and sign will not be disappointed. Theresa Santoro RN
