Today my family and I had the pleasure of eating some of the best vegetables we have ever had! The basket of vegetables ranged from zucchini, Japanese eggplant, and incredible heirloom tomatoes. The vegetables were so fresh, flavorful, and beautiful too. What a great meal! It is amazing how good produce can taste when it doesn't come from hundreds of miles away. Everything is bursting with color and flavor. It not only tastes great but I know it's wholesome, organic, and healthful food. Did I mention the strawberries were bursting with sweet, juicy flavor. The best berries I have had all summer!!! What a gem of a find this little Schubert Farm in Stillwater MN.

Summer is coming and this is where the strawberries are best. I took my kids to pick strawberries at this farm and they had a blast. It was nice for them to get their hands on the strawberries partly so they could see where it comes from and partly because they enjoyed eating it so much more after they worked for it.

These strawberries taste like nature intended, red, juicy and full of flavor. They freeze well and are always an excellent addition to desserts, salads and sauces.

The corn is like a juicy burst of goodness with every mouthful. It also freezes well once it is cooked and cut off of the cob.

I am looking forward to going back this summer and stocking up on all of the deliciousness Schubert Farm has to offer.
