These people are conservative conspiracy theorists who gave us toxic "herbs" (borage) our first week (thank God I knew what it was and didn't just eat it). Further they don't believe in irrigation with anything but rainwater...which these days probably has just as many, if not more, chemicals than city water, especially in the metro area and with the fires this season....city water can easily be filtered for chloramine and flourine, if thats why they wont irrigate with it, idk.
The crops are sad and wilted every week and suffer damage from insects beyond normal organic due to lack of natural plant health from the dehydration.... I don't think they know how to harvest before flowering/bolting....and doesnt seem like they trim/harvest to increase yields either, which is amateur hour shoot yourself in foot stuff. Things seem to get even further damaged by how they use their cold storage. I wouldn't pay money for any of it at a market.
We won't be using them next year.

A 3rd party CSA is one where the CSA buys produce from farms and re-distributes it. 3rd party CSAs are not usually farming themselves (although some farmer CSA co-ops may fall under this category). A traditional CSA is a farm that grows produce for its members.
