The overall hometown feeling of the market. Every vender is so nice and helpful, with free tastings and explanatons on the best way to cook vegtables and fruits.

We can purchase absolutely the freshest fruits and veggies each week from very local farmers. We recognize them names from farms we drive by each week. This helps with sustainability and there is no need to purchase items that have been shipped long distances. We can also get recommendations on how to prepare and use these veggies. The market is very clean with a great variety of items and a fun and happy environment. Peggy Coon

Hometown setting, hometown feel, hometown quality. Once you have experienced it, there is no going back. That is Arroyo Grande and that is our City Hall Farmers' Market!

Being raised in Arroyo Grande my entire life, it is my favorite town, U.S.A. Even as big as it has gotten, the farmer's market keeps it feeling "small town" quaint.

Visiting Arroyo Grande is like going back in time, like visiting Mayberry, small town charm, beautiful flowers, swinging bridge, chicken and roosters in their village, parks and gazebos, a Main Street call Branch St, where you can stroll down and visit all the shops. If you haven't been here you need to come.

They have wonderful flowers and I have picked up some beautiful pieces of artwork from local artists. It's a terrific way to support the local farmers and vendors.

It has a wonderful variety of quality produce with historic area and a swinging bridge close by. Besides how many cities have resident roosters crowing at their farmerÂ?s markets?

It's the best local produce market facilitating the "local-vore" way of living better than any other area farmer's market.

Some of my best memories of growing up were from the village of A.G. Commerical Market {now J J`s} Going to the drug store after school to mooch a piece of fudge from my mom. shhhh don`t tell sonia. The farmers market was always a treat because you know you could always find the fresh produce you were looking for!!

AG Farmer's Market is right in the main stream of the village which just adds to the ambiance of "old time" USA. Many of the farmers have been here for generations and are carrying on the family traditions. I love it! Please don't quit!

I love to see the local farmers and their produce! They also are always eager to explain an unfamiliar vegetable to me, and how to prepare it. They really want you to enjoy the food and they teach me more every time I shop there.
