The amount of what you get is not worth the cost by the week. We could have gotten four times the amount of organic vegetables from the grocery store or Farmer's Market, but I was excited about buying local. He would give the poor product (small, withered, or with bug holes) or very little to the CSA customers who had already paid for a share and save the good crop for selling at the Farmer's Market that weekend. I would suggest waiting to buy his produce from the Lawrenceville Farmer's Market for better selection and to save money.

We are currently participating in the CSA program with Finch Creek and I am more than pleased with the delicious produce we've received this summer. I can honestly say we've had the best vegetables I've ever eaten because they actually have distinct flavors. The butterleaf lettuce is buttery and the arugula and radishes are peppery-just like they should be. I feel very good about feeding everything to my family because I know it's grown without any harmful chemicals. Cass always encourages us to taste everything as we're picking. You can't do that if the food is covered with pesticide. And taste we do! The flavors and aromas are so rich.
We look forward to continuing a relationship with Cass and his farm. The communication between farmer and customer is easy and they are dedicated to their farm. I have waited a long time for a CSA program this close to home and I hope more people in the area will support local farms such as this one. Kudos!

I feel really blessed to have this farm a short distance from where I live. These are veggies that are marketable anywhere, but Barrow County is beyond blessed to have them grown right here.
I was able to get everything I would expect from a late-Fall/Winter garden- and the flavor is just exceptional. Bravo!

Me: "do you spray at all?"
Farmer: [pause] "I'll tell you what I use. I use dirt...and water...and God."
Just starting out, he's a real down to earth farmer who is genuinely in awe that he gets the privilege of growing food for people. While walking together, we enjoyed a freshly plucked sample of all that was growing which at the time was turnips, radishes, kale, various lettuces, carrots, and arugula. His soil is rich and clean, his philosophy is solid, his integrity is pure, and most importantly...his produce is some of the tastiest and most beautiful in the area. Get a CSA, but also don't miss the opportunity to go out there and get to know this man. He wants to nourish your family.
