I can't help but be proud of my friends who do well~ especially when they don't just do well for themselves but for others. Green Door Gourmet is my fave family farm that has now opened it's doors from Tuesdays-Saturdays from 9am-3pm, featuring produce & products that wouldn't dare let chemical pesticides come near them. I believe we all need to do better for ourselves, our families and our world. Thanks, GDG

We discovered Green Door last year by finding a local pasture raised beef farm that delivered there. This CSA was exactly what we were looking for in terms of the flexibility and being able to add things a la carte. They are now open Tues-Friday from 9am-3pm in case you need things during the week. In fact I took my children this morning and they played on the playground and loved picking out some Jenni's ice cream (locally made with quality farm milk from East Nashville). In addition to the produce I purchased, Sylvia is now carrying Ecotone eggs and West Wind meat, I basically took care of all of my grocery shopping for the week. All of the people at Green Door are genuine and a pleasure to be around. Check out some of her things she offers in the fall like her bbq and bluegrass, hayrides, pumpkins etc. Wish we could make the farm to table dinner coming up but we are out of town. Keeping my fingers crossed there will be one in the fall!!

We've been buying meat, produce and dairy products from Green Door for a couple of years now and I simply cannot express what a wonderful experience it has been. They always have a great variety of fresh, unique, local products together with a warm smile and a kind word. I love the flexibility of their CSA program which accommodates our schedule and preferences better than any other CSA we've been involved with. Perhaps the most wonderful think about Green Door is that its a working farm. My children have learned so much from our trips to "the farm" and they look forward to it all week long. Thanks Green Door Gourmet for providing an outstanding experience week after week!

The Green Door Gourmet has created the perfect farmer's market in West Nashville on Hidden Valley Farm, off River Road. Owner Sylvia Harrelson Ganier has built a unique "farm to fork" setting.

As soon as you arrive at the farm, you can see Sylvia's dedication to quality products and memorable experiences. You can also see the tremendous growth and expansion recently. The farm now has a market store and event space - another reason to visit. Not only can you get your weekly CSA box at Green Door, but the farm offers some of the best fresh, local and regional products....like cheese, bread, meat, honey, eggs, jams and jellies.

Another reason to visit - There's always activity buzzing at the farm, from live music events, to a kids club that allows our children to learn where food comes from, and how to plant and care for plants, vegetables and herbs.

Green Door makes it easy to eat, experience and support local food. Sylvia and her team have created a laid back, welcoming setting that puts the natural, sustainable and organic products first. You can easily tell that their hearts are in it - and that matters when it comes to our food.

We are thankful that we have Green Door Gourmet in our neighborhood!
