It's fun for family & friends. Includes organic produce. Really tasty Indian & Afghan spreads & breads, along with other cuisines. Live music. Balloon sculptures to keep the kids happy.

I love seeing the neighborhood come alive, with everyone saying hi to each other and striking up conversations. The market is compact but has everything I could want, and it's all very high quality. My favorite is Firme Farms for organic veggies at great prices. The prepared foods are excellent, too.

It is a nice walk or quick bike ride from my house, I like to support small farmers growing food sustainably and the food vendors all serve their specialties (yay chicken tikka masla) in compostable cardboard containers.

Fresh, local and some of the best french pastry (tarts), biscotti (de Bianchi) and organic sorbet sround, not to mention huge baked potatoes are for sale! I don't have to cook when I go home....
