The food is fresh and one can know the "face of their food"! The local economy is certainly enhanced by those who purchase products from other local individuals who grow, and produce healthy fresh food! Community is becoming lost in our fast paced techno-society, and it does not need to be that way.....the farmer's market is a step towards stronger community.

Vendors are sincere. I trust the quality of the products. As a matter of fact, this is the only market I have shopped across North America in the last 49 years that I trust the honesty of every vendor and each product to be clean and fair! The vendors are attentive to customer's individual interests. Sometimes special orders can be placed and brought next market. Feedback is often sought and responded to. It is a true local market offering local harvests (not shipped) and local vendors ask for feedback so visitors and local folks get what they want, when, and how they need it. Come on and visit! you'll see !!

I've been to a couple different farmer's markets, but this one is by far the best! They've got Joan's Breads (the tastiest), Bald Guy's coffee (so good), breakfast foods and other goodies from Faith Mountain Farm (delicious), a huge assortment of fruits and vegetables and flowers grown by the nicest people, and so much more! I also love the small town, friendly attitude every to have. It's the best way to start a Saturday!

It's one of the most treasured parts of our family's week, going to the market. We eat well and fresh on the things we buy, we see many friends, we hear good music from local musicians, and our kids play in the woods and among the historic cabins in the Homestead next door.

The market is a great alternative for great food in the area, and I enjoy supporting local foods. It's also a great place to meet and greet people in the community, which is not always easy as a college student at ASU. I feel more involved in the "mountain life" when I can come and discuss things with people at the market. There is no better way to spend a Saturday morning than discussing fruits, veggies, crafts etc. with elders in your community!

I think all farmers markets world wide should be strongly supported! That you can come there in the morning and get your coffee, breakfast and buy fresh groceries for dinner, at the same time as you meet your friends and other friendly people from your community willing to help, is great. Local food is important, and it is good that they get the opportunity to sell their products.

Wide variety of very fresh and tasty veggies and fruits. Baked and canned goods, hand made crafts and best of all is you know it was either grown or created by the person standing directly in front of you. I love this place as the familiar smells and sounds takes me back to an earlier time in my life when Mom and Dad took me to the market.

Local food, flowers, and friends are enjoyed at this market. I go for the colors, music, and crafts, as well. I usually, stand behind the performers and sketch them, as well as, onlookers and passersby. I attract a little attention and admiration of my quick sketches. I soak up the smells of things to eat, soaps and flowers. It is a market, for all the senses, which delights me each Saturday with an anticipation that is always rewarded both visually and physically. It is the best of markets I have experienced from here to England, France, Germany and Italy.
