Cloudland is the kind of farm the shouts "you're in New England, here's a great reason why, and you'll eat a fabulous turkey to boot!" We have purchased beef occasionally and our Thanksgiving turkeys from them and quality has so far been wonderful. Prices are fair (as in "equitable," as in "you'd have to feel bad about paying less if you consider the dedication and work involved in a family farm producing meat"). The proprietors are delightful, and it is just plain fun to do business with them. We usually see them/buy at the Norwich Farmer's Market, but the drive to their farm to pick up the Thanksgiving turkey is a fun family excursion. We take different routes to and from, and enjoy the lovely Vermont areas that are rarely seen by visitors. At Thanksgiving, our guests have remarked on the "best turkey" ever.
