Had a great time picking up fresh fruits and veggies from Harm's Farm to Martha's bacon popcorn. Not bad for a rookie market. It was nice to meet the ladies from Elgin Community Garden Network collecting items for the food pantry too. Way to go Habitat Restore for seeking to make your location a community meeting spot to buy local. So looking foward to the Winter Market coming in Novemeber.

Went there on 7/28/2012 and there were too few vendors to make this one worthwhile.

Orchids were an unexpected but awesome addition. Prices alone are enough to warrant a visit. Also picked up some great chicken and white cheddar jalapeno sausage, got information on a unique take on CSA-style fresh produce (http://www.therecessionbuster.com/) without the commitment, chatted with some people from Door County who refilled my coffee mug for $1, and snagged some very inexpensive but delicious fudge (peanut butter, butterscotch, chocolate, chocolate walnut), peppermint bark and other pastries. Definitely going back for more!

The vendors are so nice. Farmers with great products and really educating me on growing seasons was incrediable. Plus the market included live music, bbq and homemade soups.
