Last year was our first year as a member of Riverstone Farms. It was wonderful to get fresh vegetables each week, each week a great selection and always with a bit of an explanation of what was included - and I appreciated the recipes each week. We are joining again this summer, can't wait for the veggies to start coming.

We were thrilled at the beautiful vegetables we received through our farm share last year. Eating what was fresh/ripe as it was harvested was such a treat. Many times organic vegetables can be disappointing but Riverstone's vegetables were amazing--so full of flavor. My husband, a self-professed "veggie hater", even loved our farm share so that was a great victory! They had a great mix of "favorites" and also new vegetables to try every week. I loved the recipes they sent along with each bag. Get on board with Riverstone Farm before the share slots run out!

I thoroughly enjoyed being part of the Riverstone CSA last year. There were vegetables that I had not experienced before as well as the standard garden fare. And everything is very fresh. They have great eggs and I am very particular about eggs. And you get a discount on other things that you buy from them!

Last year was our first year working with Riverstone Farm and we were delighted with the quantity and variety of produce! The flavor, freshness and variety in the vegetables were amazing and called for me to experiment with new recipes, trying new vegetables I did not even know existed! I feels great to support this local farm as well.

This will be my second year of CSA with Riverstone Farm. Their produce is the best on the Roanoke market! Each week is an adventure of what is in my package. It is always super fresh, with a nice variety of items. Early in the spring there were lots of greens, and then it progressed to a great variety of vegetables as the season went on. They grow lots of unusual types, such as candy striped beets, or multi-color peppers, and purple fingerling potatoes, which is fun (and probably more nutritious). Last year I tried things I'd never eaten before and they were delicious! I appreciate the care Riverstone takes in packaging too, and the sheet they include which names what is in the package and usually a bonus recipe to give ideas on how to fix an item in that week's package. I would highly recommend this farm!
