The Ormond Farmers Market has produce, organic veggies, honey, bread, jams, arts and crafts, Thai food, candles, jerky, soaps and jewelry and more. Every day is different. An Ormond Must See.

This market started out strong and I was very excited about it being part of the community. However all most all of the original vendors have left the market and new subpar at best vendors have replaced them. Also there is not over 30 vendors, there is maybe 9-10 at most. I recommend the New Smyrna Beach Market or the new Green Market at the Port Orange Pavillion both on Saturdays.

I like the weekend expansion piece of the concept of the new Thursday evening Ormond Beach Farmer's Market opening in October. More pragmatically, I like Gene, Sylvia and Bob's "Nature's Garden" Health Foods store's planned participation. Fresh vegetables and fruits are living foods which are sooo much better for us than processed and generally sucrose laden "consumables." Remember the "Big Three" of good health: Nutrition, Exercise and ...(drum roll)..Attitude. The "Attitude of Gratitude" (Greenberg, 2004) besting the "clear conscience" goal/objective of our generally Judeo-Christian upbringings here in our favorably blessed USA, of which Rockefeller's retirement resort mecca is a jewel. -------DRINK FRESH FLORIDA ORANGE JUICE TOO!!
