I've loved having Doug and Lisa come drop off produce this summer. They are wonderful and their CSA boxes are complete and thoughtfully prepared. As well as produce, they have other products like eggs, butter, spices, chicken and other meats available for an additional charge. The product is fresh and their service is such a pleasure!

Doug and Lisa been prompt, attentive and incredible to work with. As other reviews have mentioned, they are very attentive to food likes/dislikes and are very flexible with their deliveries. I hit the jackpot when I found them on LocalHarvest last spring. We've tried veggies we've never seen before and it's been great. I'm so spoiled that all trips to the market are now disappointing because they pale in comparison to Spring Fed Farms.

When Doug and Lisa brought us our first box right to our door I knew this was something special. They care so much about their members and product! The ability to customize your box is amazing but almost unnecessary because everything is so wonderful! It has changed how we eat and our health for the better. When you have such a bountiful supply and the occasional surprise(local popcorn, honey, butter, eggs, fresh herbs, the list goes on!) you cant help but want to eat it all! They are constantly teaching me about what I'm eating and if you don't know how to prepare something just ask and they will convince you that banana peppers and spaghetti squash are yummy! Try it and see! I have told them before that they can never stop doing this because now we just can't eat store bought produce!

Fresh, non-GMO and delivered to you?? What more do you want? Doug & Lisa are the best people that you will ever deal with - and have a true passion for what they do. When people believe in their cause - it shines through on the results....EXCELLENT, Tasty, Healthy produce. Anytime you have a special request, they are on it if they can possibly do it. If you want to put your weekly order on hold for a while or do bi-weekly, they will accommodate. NO other CSA is willing to do what their customers want. You should try it for yourself and see that all these reviews are the absolute truth. I am now a life long fan of Spring Fed Farms

Found a new reason Saturdays are special. Doug and Lisa come to see us for a few moments. They not only bring their buoyant personalities but surprises in our big box of the just picked produce.

We love the access to the very freshest healthy vegetables. Tomatoes to die for, sweet onions of many types, leafy cabbage, sweet corn, interesting cucumbers, just right squash, it just keeps coming to our doorstep every week. Then there are the surprises - peppers one week, basil the next, best tasting cantaloupe ever ...

Already already excited about next Saturday!

If you want some of the best produce in Missouri...This is with out a doubt the place to get your produce and meat from! I can't wait till they have chickens ready either!!!

I second everything Sarah already stated. This was also my first year with Spring Fed Farms. Their weekly deliveries (to your doorstep) were fresh and generous (usually far exceeding their estimated pounds per share per week). The fresh, free-range eggs were quite a treat. Doug and Lisa went above and beyond to work with each customer and prided themselves on customer service. They were always open to suggestions - if you wanted more hot peppers, they'd make sure your box of produce had more. If you wanted less of a certain item, they'd take care of that too. I had very specific requests for my produce, and Doug was willing to meet them without a blink of an eye. They also open the farm to anyone who wants to come see where their food originates.

This is our first year being a member of the Spring Fed Farms CSA, and we have loved being a part of their share. They deliver to our doorstep in downtown St. Louis, which makes it super convenient. The quality of the produce has also been fantastic. We've gotten lots of zucchini, tomatoes, corn, onions, a few peppers, broccoli, cantaloupe, peaches, and a few other random things. Doug and Lisa are really friendly, and you can tell they genuinely care about their produce, and have a passion for the work that they do. Also, 2012 has been a rough year for farmers due to the severe drought conditions. They had to cut the season short due to the lack of produce, but were able to provide us a refund of the remaining weeks. Before the abrupt stop in deliveries, I was constantly amazed by the quality and amount of produce. The news said there was a drought, but from what we were receiving, I sure couldn't tell.
