This market is worth checking out. There's a good selection of organic produce, and very reasonably priced berries, especially strawberries. Next to a community park, there are outdoor tables for enjoying a good selection of food cart fresh pizza, Thai, Indian, healthy Asian bowls, Mexican, etc. Parking close by is easy, unlike the Monterey market.

My main reason to go to this market is to buy from Inzana Ranch: organic nuts, seasonal tree fruit, and dried fruit. Besides the fact that Tony and Joye are super nice people, completely committed to organic methods, they have hands-down the tastiest pecans and pistachio, outstanding plums in the summer, pomegranates in the winter, and amazing dried cherries.I give their nuts and fruits as presents to family who find them as addictive as I do. Inzana doesn't sell at other Monterey Bay farmers' markets, so they are definitely a draw to the PG market.

Please note: winter hours are only until 6 p.m until daylight saving begins in the spring.
