They often sell some interesting varieties along with the staples. Everything I buy from them looks and tastes beautiful. And they're friendly and informative as well, happy to share cooking ideas.

2013 was my first experience with Walnut Run Produce. The CSA was well stocked, extremely informative and taught me a better way to cook, purchase locally and eat cleaner. I highly recommend!!!!!!

David and I talk all the time about how lucky we are to have such fresh and tasty vegetables all summer long. Our CSA share has such a variety of produce and flowers. We always look for what is new in our crate each week, what would we be trying that we have not eaten before, and what new recipes to explore.
I love going to the farmer's market and looking at their display of beautiful tomatoes, all kinds of peppers, best eggplant ever, fresh greens, young parsley, edible flowers and more. I still remember the artichoke blooms in the attractive flower bouquets.
We can't wait for the new season to start!

First CSA I've purchased into. They came highly recommended as extremely competent from individuals I strongly trust.
Large shares of organic produce. Much of the salad greens were fully prepared, washed, and in plastic bags...highly appreciated!
A very good mix for being fairly early in the year thus far.
Came with a printed newsletter with recipe suggestions and other useful information.
The only downside is distribution is focused on the Williamsport area, if you do not live or work in town getting your share can take a bit of travel time. Not really a big deal, but a consideration.
