Ayla and James care so much more about their community and their environment than the average farmers. I have supported their business by buying their CSA share 2 years in a row because each week I open that box, I feel spoiled: it is brimming over with the most vibrant veggies I have ever eaten! Even co-op bought organic vegetables are bland in comparison (no kidding!).

One of Blackbrook Farm's missions is to actually improve the soil with land stewardship methods as they produce crops—and that is really important to me. Good food takes mindful growers and consumers. If you are looking for an affordable, local, natural alternative for fresh produce this is a no-brainer. Support these farmers and you won't be disappointed; I'm signing up for a 3rd year of Blackbrook Farm's CSA share in 2014.
