In a beautiful shaded park with a playground and nice restrooms. Also lots of nearby parking. Grower only produce with new and different products each week. one of the vendors even makes their own cider. There is often live music and local interest groups who demonstrate and explain their organizations mission Hope this market stays around!

I go every Wednesday throughout the Summer. Good rotating selection of fresh vegetables (salad greens, green beans, squash, corn, broccoli, tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, cauliflower, onions, radishes, beets), tasty bread from The Rustic Farmer, baked goods (Amish pies, zucchini bread, cookies, raspberry squares, brownies), some garden plants, even Andy's Knockout Chicken and Ribs! There is often musical entertainment in the park pavilion and craft projects -- or a visiting goat or tortoise -- to occupy the kids and, sometimes, even a food truck. It's become a weekly tradition: Wednesday dinner is roasted chicken or ribs or pulled pork with a fresh bakery item for dessert and vegetables for the week. I hope it can continue to grow and improve. It's a great addition to New Haven!
