I have had the opportunity to drop in Miss Effie's the past few years. I am always amazed at the flowers. Last year I had the opportunity to take my daughter and grandaughter. They both loved the flowers, chickens and the ducks. I will go back as often as possible as everytime I drop in there is something new and exciting to see and learn about.

YEA! Spring is in the air and it will soon be time for a trip to Miss Effie's. I have looked forward to this all winter... my children can't wait to see the cats and give the chicken's a special treat. Me... I am looking forward to seeing someone who is genuinely thrilled to see a tired Mom with two young kids pull up to her house. Oh ya' the flowers are a great bonus.

My antique club met at Miss Effie's for a summer morning to learn more about heritiage flowers. Kathy greeted us while doing the family laundry using a 1940s wringer washer. What could be better for a bunch of antique buffs? She walked us around the farm not only telling us about the vintage flowers, but sharing starts for us to take home. The cats! The ducks! The chickens! We couldn't have had a better experience. Thanks Kathy and Cliff.

Miss Effie's flower farm could not be more beautiful! I spent a morning there with a friend and my four-year-old and we all came home delighted! Miss Effie is so sweet and friendly...and so are her charming animals! The flowers, eggs, and jam that I brought home are fantastic. I can't wait to visit her again!

Miss Effie's is a charming place!! My kids and I have coming here for the past 2 years and love it. I grew up on a farm and it feels so good to get out of the city! It has become a summer tradition for us! Kathy 's flowers are so pretty and there is such a variety to chose from. We also buy her farm fresh colorful eggs.
The kids love it when her cats follow us as we wonder around the farm. We also have some pretty cute photos of the kid's holding baby ducks. So if you visit make sure you bring your camera!
Kathy always welcomes us with a smile and is more than helpful when it comes to gardening questions.

My friends and I have been picking flowers at Miss Effie's for six years and we look forward to visiting every summer. Cathy is always helpful and friendly! This summer she worked with us to pick beautiful bouquets of her flowers to use on the reception tables at our daughter's wedding. We had numerous comments on their beauty and many of those people now want to experience the pleasure of visiting Miss Effie's. Every home needs fresh flowers, and Miss Effie's is just the place to pick exactly what you want! Enjoy!!

We just visited Miss Effie's on June 20th for the first time. We loved it!!! My 2 year-old daughter and I had a blast picking our own flowers, petting the ducks, chickens, and kitties. We enjoyed the fresh farm air and Miss Effie couldn't have been nicer! All of the families that attended from our group seemed to have a great time! It was nice to be able to sit out on the farm and enjoy the picnic lunch we took with us. We look forward to going back soon!

We visit there often and can't get enough! My grils (ages 2 & 6) can't wiat to go out to the farm. We have been going there for two years and always feel like we are coming home. The girls play with cats, pet chickens and ducks, cut flowers and run free! If you haven't been there you are missing out. I feel great after spending some time in the quiet country and love the incrediable flowers I come home with!
