This is the best tasting produce I have ever had. I have tried, and liked, so many new veggies because of Hall Farms. Don't let me forget to mention the eggs, they taste like eggs, so yummy. The only meat I have tried is the pork products, out of this world. I have moved from Manton months ago, I miss their get selection and tasty veggies. My sister is still in Manton, when I go back she double orders so I can take some home. 5 stars for sure.

This is our first year buying into Hall Farms Veggie share and we are loving it.. We had stopped buying a lot of veggies from the store such as beets, bok choy, swiss chard and some others as they were just not a good quality for various reasons.. Hall Farms produce is so fresh that we are trying things I never would have eaten before such as beet greens. Her spinach is so awesome that we are eating various salads instead of cooking it. Not that it is not good sauted with garlic. . My husband has never liked store bought romaine lettuce but the lettuce we get in our box is awesome, Everything is so fresh and lasts very well until the next delivery It is also very fun to see what other little surprises we get each delivery like baby carrots and broccoli. We are happy to be apart of this local business , I know they work hard at it and I wish them the best ..Hall Farms CSA is the best..

I've been a member for almost a year and I've been nothing but happy with Hall Farm's products. I've been working hard at keeping up on the produce I get. It's been a learning experience incorporating the variety of produce provided. I receive the freshest veggies imaginable, the only way I could get fresher would be to grow them myself!

We were so amazed with the half share we have been enjoying for a year now! The variety each month is superb, and we love the commitment to please! There are a few herbs my family doesn't like, so we get plenty of others! Always happy with our boxes. Pork is supreme, beef fantastic, and the birds are just perfect for our family of five!

We have been so pleased with our share from Hall Farms! Generally delivered twice a month to your door, but if you need extras of something Holly will often make a special trip! Excellent customer service! The diversity of the share has been incredible and we've even been introduced to some new to us goodies. The eggs are orange and rich, chicken is lean and flavorful, the beef excellent, and well, we'll never be able to eat store bought pork again. This is an excellent value for your money and we can't recommend it highly enough.

If you have never tried FRESS you don't know what you are missing. You can not go wrong with Hall Farms CSA.

The fruits, veggies, meat and poultry are so delicious! Before I joined I never knew that fresh, organic greens had such different wonderful flavors! And our local farmer, Holly Hall at Hall Farms CSA is so thoughtful and such a hard worker! If you have not yet signed up with her, you really really should!

Excellent beef, pork, eggs and especially the T-bone steaks. The fresh Kale keeps us healthy, the eggs are fresh and delicious and the winter and summer boxes are full of surprises. Holly provides very healthy items for my family. This month the Meyers lemons and grapefruit were outstanding. The carrots were so sweet and the bacon...well to die for.

We absolutely loved having fresh produce and meat from Halls Farm! Everything was excellent, and Holly was great at working with times to meet!

We are new members and so glad we have decided to join. Our boxes of fresh delicious meat and veggies have been wonderful!! The flavor is outstanding! Looking forward to the next year of veggies, fruits, meats. A lot of hard work from the farmers, thank you, it's much appreciated!!

Hall Farms has the BEST bacon we have ever tasted!! My husband can't get enough. Everything we have gotten from Hall Farms has been fantastic! Friendly, local and fresh. If you are looking for organic and grass fed this is the place to go. They even deliver to Redding. Two thumbs up!

I have been a member of this CSA for almost a year and a half now. We are extremely satisfied with everything we have received from Hall Farms. The meat and produce is very good and a great variety. The eggs are probably our favorite of all, and there have been lots of nice surprises in our CSA boxes over the months. Nuts, fruit, honey, juice, and others that don't come to mind right now. That's the best part, you never know what you're going to get, but it is all good. I appreciate how much effort goes into what Holly and Tom do, and we look forward to our box every other week. I am splitting a share with my parents, so one box is plenty to go around with 4 adults and one child to feed. It has changed our eating and shopping habits in such a positive way. I am very grateful that this option is available to me. Thanks for all you guys do!

We just signed up and received our first batch of goodies a few days ago. Among the offerings was a fat, dressed chicken. If he or she's the one I heard clucking next door to where I work, I now know what happy chickens taste like. It was wonderful! The eggs, veggies (some of the sweetest carrots I've ever tasted), and oranges are awesome. I never heard of CSA before, but what a great concept. I love that I can support a local farm and reap the benefits of their hard work and devotion. Keep up the great work, Tom and Holly!

CSA's like this are the future; local family creating great produce and meats. This is their first year and so far I am very impressed. The chickens delivered were huge, juicy, well cleaned and vacuum sealed. All the citrus and veggies have been perfectly picked. They have also been adding small amounts of herbs, just perfect for including in recipes for the chicken. I highly recommend their products.

The more I learned about this farm and their CSA program the more excited I was to sign-up. The food is naturally grown, when I signed up they were working on becoming certified. It's equivalent to an organic certification. Also, a lot of the animals they raise are heritage breeds. This is something that's very important to me, these breeds are both a part of our Heritage and an important part of sustainable farming. And the best part, It's all brought to you by a local family at a very reasonable price. I definitely made the right choices signing up for this start-up CSA.

So far we've received 2 boxes and the food has been great. We received the sample box in the fall containing apples, persimmons, walnuts, eggs, beef and chicken. And the first box for the year arrived just the other day with carrots, oranges, honey, walnuts, rice, fresh herbs, eggs and 2 chickens. Not bad for a winter box. I must say the quality is great on everything so far. The eggs are very fresh and have a great flavor. The chickens are good sized and delicious.

I believe the Chicken can be ordered separately from the CSA along with their Beef (when available) if you don't want to commit to a CSA or if you just want to give their meat a try. You wont be disappointed.

A few days before Thanksgiving I received a farm fresh grown chicken,fresh apples,and freshly pressed apple juice for my children from Hall farms.(Holly and Tom Hall). I was delighted when I noticed how HUGE the breast were on the chicken. I decided that I would use this chicken for my Thanksgiving dinner since it could easily feed a family of five or six plus. We all felt happy knowing that the chicken, apples and apple juice had zero pesticides or hormones added.The chicken was tender and juicy. Also, very lean. This was good food, the way nature truly intended.
