Phil and Shanna grow amazingly beautiful, delicious vegetables. Rambling Roots Farm is a lovingly maintained slice of organic heaven in southern Chester County. If you aren't a lucky member of their CSA, you can check out their farm stands at Rittenhouse Square on Saturdays and in Kennett Square on Fridays. Know your farmers! Buy local!

Hi, I'm so grateful to be part of Rambling Roots CSA and wanted to share what I love most:

-They send an email with the contents of the upcoming pickup along with recipes. This helps me plan weekly meals around the pickup.

-The quality is amazing, everything is picked fresh and delicious. I also love the variety.

-We do a weekly pick up with eggs, but sometimes we need more and I'm able to add extra as available.

-We love the Rambling Roots tomato sauce, bacon and sausage. Special add-ons to complete delicious meals!

I can't find the same quality (not to mention price for organic) produce at the grocery store and being a part of this CSA saves me a lot of time and money. As a working mom it makes my job preparing healthy meals easier and I can't wait for the 2017 season!

I buy produce and eggs from Rambling Roots Farm when they come to the Rittenhouse Square Farmers Market and I am always delighted with the items I buy from Shanna and Phil. Their produce is of exceptional quality and flavor and the eggs are flavorful and vividly yolked. I've participated in their CSA program several times and have always found the shares to be exceedingly generous and varied. I recommend them to friends whenever asked and hope to buy from Rambling Roots for many years to come.

Not only are Phil, Shanna and their baby Stone super sweet and generous, their vibrant and unbelievably fresh veggies, eggs, and meat are hands down the best food you'll eat! Their growing methods are very sustainable and their giving personality is reflected in their abundant, rich soil. I highly recommend their CSA and buying from their stand at farmers' markets.

2016 was my first time ever participating in a crop share; but I have already signed up for 2017. While I have no other experience to compare this to, I was extremely pleased with the quality and quantity of weekly offerings by Rambling Roots Farm. I took advantage of the convenience of picking up on Tuesdays in New London. All of the produce was so fresh, kept cool, and nicely boxed waiting for me each week. The weekly newsletter with information about storage as well as recipe suggestions was wonderful. I found myself looking forward to a delightful surprise each week. I highly recommend this to anyone in the Southern Chester County area looking for local, healthy produce!!

Rambling Roots is a small family operated farm in Delaware county that uses organic processes to yield excellent products. Their vegetables are are always fresh, seasonal, and delicious! I really enjoy getting seasonal vegetables because it challenges me to try new foods and cooking methods. They also raise their own chickens and pigs, which yields amazing meat and eggs! Shanna and Phil are two of the sweetest people in the entire world and I really enjoy seeing them every week to pick up my CSA. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
