This is a well managed excellent market. Just enough produce vendors with some added extra flavor. Music, honey, art, aprons and food food food.

The local vendors supply great produce, meat, and cheeses. I enjoy seeing people from our community that I usually don't run into. I can accomplish shopping while visiting..

Besides that I love singing there & appreciate that Farmers Market supports music & musicians, the healthy food, special people, wares & services are exceptional. That it is outside & local to downtown makes it very pleasant & convenient to access & visit. And yes, I get to see people I don't normally see when singing or out at night.

It is an incredible community gathering place supplying us with organic local food! Also there is a great deal of education taking place amongst the healthy business.

I buy all my food at the Farmer's Market. It is always fresh, locally grown and I love the farmers and the buyers. Saturday morning is a Durango event. I only wish it could go on all year!

good produce, well displayed, very friendly atmosphere and NO dogs allowed which has irritated a few but it's nice to walk among the folks present and not have to worry about dogs and inconsiderate owners. Great location and lots of support folks standing by.

Spending a Saturday morning at the Durango Farmers Market is such fun. You enjoy the outdoors and see lots of people you know... some you may not have seen for a while, so it's great to catch up. Buying locally grown, yummy produce is the topping on the cake. Everyone is friendly and smiling and enjoying the day!

The atmosphere is just amazing along with incredible locally grown produce, eggs, meats and cheeses. Great other vendors with delicious pastries, breads and other prepared foods. Most especially, the live music and friendly people make for a unique experience!

The Durango Farmers' Market is full of very dedicated farmers who bring this community the best produce, meats, eggs, and cheeses that can possibly be produced at our altitude. The community is supportive of the farmers and they, in turn, deliver amazing food!

Cause it's good and local and conducted near the Animas River, aka El Rio de las Animas Perdidas or The River of Lost Souls....

They truly allow you to "eat local", having everything from veggies, fruit, lamb, chicken, beef, artisan cheese, excellent bread and honey. Most is organic, sustainably harvested, fair-trade and/or grown without pesticides. They also have food such as pastries, coffee and tamales to munch on while shopping or enjoying the live music. It is a local gathering place and includes crafts, plants and massage as well! What more could you ask for?
