I look forward to my weekly visit to the Easton Farmers Market with great anticipation! The vendors are personable and their hard work allows me to feel like I am supporting sustainable agricultural practices. The organic produce is the foundation for my family's meals throughout the week; the farmers provide healthy eating choices that is just a stone's throw from my front door. As an urban dweller, I can only grow so much in pots on my roof, so I am grateful to Megan McBride for organizing the fabulous vendors and carrying on the rich tradition on our community's open air market. Merci Beaucoup!!

The Easton Farmers Market is a unique and special event each week. The feeling of being in our historic town's center circle on a beautiful farmers market day enlivens my love for the city. There is an incredible energy at our market with local people supporting each other by buying local and by offering good cheer and conversation, it really is the essence of great community. Not only is this a fantastic farmer's market in its own right, it somehow also transcends your typical notion of a farmers market by become a kind of must-attend event complete with; weekly themes, activities for families, and live music. The market is helping to transform our small town from a town that always seems to have so much unrealized potential to a city that is THE place to be on Saturday mornings. I love being a part of it.

Easton Farmers' Market has some of the friendliest and most helpful people I've ever met at a farmers' market! They have a booth for just about everything, so they get all bases covered, and the different themes of each week makes it exciting to go to, all throughout the year. I know that the neighboring college gets really excited when it opens back up in the spring - fantastically fresh produce and tons more.

The diversity of products available at EFM is amazing! From cheese, eggs, fudge, cookies, veggies and flowers there is a little something for everyone in the family. That along with the wonderful community events each week-like the Mother's Day Tea, all add up to make the Easton Farmer's Market our favorite morning stop on Saturday. The kids love it and we do too-great community and great stuff!

I like to support my local farms. I have the buy locally, think globally, mantality. I know that I'm buying everything at the peak of freshness and many are organic. I like the idea of helping to keep these farms running by purchasing their fresh products. Plus, I love the atmosphere at the Market. There is a buzz! People helping people and something for everyone. I like that.

It's a wonderful thing to have local produce and baked goods available every week, it's also nice to have the town and surrounding areas come together, watching such diverse groups of people meet and catch up while the kids,(and pets)run and play makes me think of Norman Rockwell. That being said I almost left out the local artists and crafters which make up a fairly large and imporant part of Easton life. I wish we could have an indoor market in the winter to keep the vibe going year round!!

The vegetables, cheeses and flowers are the best!! I travel 1/2 hour every Saturday to go to the Market so I can shop for the best tasting produce and cheeses that I can feel good about serving -- foods that have not traveled from another time zone or country but that have been harvested that morning to bring the freshest, most delicious vegetables to Market.

As one of the oldest continuously run farmer's markets in the USA, watching its revitalization as we become more aware of eating locally has been wonderful. There are lots of special events, terrific and varied vendors and a tremendous feeling of community evident every week. "Meet me at the Market" has become a favorite Saturday morning activity. A great place to shop, meet friends, participate in a wide range of fun and frivilous activities--everyone in the Lehigh Valley and beyond should join us.

One of the first places I went to after moving to Easton was the Farmers Market. It is what I look forward to all week. Not only do I get local cheese, wine, bread, home goods, and veggies but it is where I made friends. Trough the farmers market I found a town to call home and people who have touched my life. The farmer's market was my first step in going green and being a part of a real community since I grew up on a farm in upstate new york. I love Easton.

I support Easton Farmers' Market because they are one of the oldest markets in the country. The market in Easton's Centre Square has been a place to shop for both food, baked goods and vegetables and flowers for many generations. My mother has told me stories of her as a young girl visiting the market with her mother. Today, it still is the same. You can carry home produce as freshly grown as it was years ago.

The Easton Farmers' Market is a perfect example of a community supporting its hometown people. In these uncertain economic times we need all the local backing we can get. Local growers will find it here, while offering their best in fresh vegetables, beautiful plants and flowers, baked goods, etc. They also support other local groups such as Pocono Greyhound Adoption and other animals rescues. Their events bring the community together to remind people that we must help each other get through these hard times. I support EFM as they support the community.
