In downtown Fairborn at Main and Central, this tiny farmer's market is the highlight of my Wednesday. I live blocks from the 2nd street market downtown and frequent it as well, but the Fairborn market keeps drawing me back. It's usually fewer than ten vendors, many of them locals who pull their pickup trucks full of fresh-picked produce from their farms into the parking lot, set up a folding table, and sell lovely produce for the cheapest prices I've found ANYWHERE. Fairborn doesn't charge the vendors a fee to set up, so they pass the savings on to you ... 4 large beautiful heirloom tomatoes for a buck ... a big butternut squash for 50 cents ... you get my point. Plus baked goods, local raw honey, etc. And unlike 2nd Street, you won't feel like you're being smothered by the crowds.

Vendors usually start setting up around 10:30-11 am and break down around 2:30 pm.
