I am so lucky to live near this farmstand. The owners are both knowledgeable and kind, and are always willing to give advice about gardening and raising chickens. They have helped me many times when I have questions about my own chickens, and they offered me extra seedlings for my garden. They have hundreds of chickens that they raise, including many roosters, and they all die happily of old age. They also have bees and make their own honey. Pulling into the driveway, one can see different crops growing, such as corn, peppers, and lettuce. They are wonderful people, and it's very special to have a working farm that still exists in the area.
