Now that you've blown your money at Northern Lights Casino and walked through every trinket shop in a 50 mile radius of Leech Lake, take the time to find this boutique winery run by three, lifetime friends. All local fruits (and rhubarb) produce a delicate tasty product, suitable for those lazy afternoons or casual dinners when you just want a cool glass of wine and the time to watch the clouds go by.

Although all the wines are small-batch and hand-corked, the owners always have enough time to entertain a group of two or twenty. Rainy days are the busiest so try to schedule a nice day to visit and sample the recent results. Visit their hand-craft shop whose artisans are all local and stroll the family garden or just sit outside in the patio and enjoy the weather.

I've been several times and have enjoyed the visit each time. No pets and no pretensions, please.
