My husband and I purchased 6 Ossabaw Island Pigs from Quincy. We were told they all had papers before we drove from SE GA to West Virginia, so obviously we paid a premium price for these beautiful pigs. Well it's been almost a year and still no papers. Our conversations with her are always the same, it's out of her hands. She makes it sound like she has done the paper work and it's the registrars part we are waiting on. But in the time we purchased pigs from her we have bought other pigs and have successfully transferred paper work on all of them with in weeks. My warning to all potential buyers is get the paper work in your hand before she has your cash in hers.

I bought 2 Gloucestershire Old Spots Pigs from Vernal Vibe Rise that were marketed with registration papers and I paid $400 each for these with the plans to breed them. I picked them up after driving from Kentucky in May 2014 and I was told the registration papers would be mailed to me. This is November 2014 and I have not received papers and not really get a good reason as to why just that I should be understanding that she is going though a divorce. Well I didn't say hold my check until my divorce was final nor was I told there was any problems with the paperwork when I wrote that check. I will inform you when I get the paper work until you hear back from me I suggest you do business with caution with this farmer.
