I had the pleasure of visiting the Farm today and got a personal tour from John. It was phenomenal. The farm is so alive, awesome and abundant. The best part of this farm is the gardening touched with the love and the generosity of his mission, to feed the hungry. I have worked with John. He is one of a kind...to say the least. He is a pure vision of joy. He has truly blessed many people with his wonderful produce... and I am very fortunate that he has shared his love and passion with me...Thank you John for the love you put into your gardening and the love you share with helping others... There is only one word that I can use to describe John and Heritage Gardens ... AMAZING! The quality of the vegetables that I receive every week are second to none. He takes such pride in his work and the fact that he donates so much to the local soup kitchens/food banks make my membership mean even more to me. This year he added even more herbs and flowers to truly round out the membership experience - looking forward to new and exciting things in 2014!

Heritage Gardens CSA has been a great experience!!!!! My wife and I enjoy beautiful healthy organic vegetables grown right in our town. Every week in the growing season I get to pick the vegetables I want and avoid what I don't. Over the summer the selection is amazing. I didn't realize there were so many types of tomatoes! The fresh herbs and flowers are also a great treat.
As importantly, the people I have met are also great. Everyone is friendly and feels treated fairly. John and his dad do a great job of making everybody feel comfortable. They have also been flexible when I needed something special. I am looking forward to next summer's vegetables.

So glad we found out about this wicked awesome CSA! Love love love it! Great Value and nice and close to home! We had joined another CSA a few years ago and I know that its a risk you take but we only got about 6 weeks worth when a huge hurricane hit and wiped out the entire crop due to the farmer leasing land along the CT river. Not going to happen with this CSA as they are on top of a mountain and in a beautiful large field! Will join again next year with out a doubt!
Can not wait for summer 2014!
