My husband and I became CSA members with End Of The Road Farm this summer and we love this program that offers half shares or whole shares of varied items every week. Lee and Jennifer are friendly folks and their four children are always eager to share with visitor things that are new on the farm.I have the greatest trust and confidence that the items I receive in my CSA are free from pesticides, preservatives and added chemicals. REALLY naturally grown. We have found their produce, milk, yogurt, eggs and meats to ALL be outstanding. Some favorites are bacon, mixed greens, tomatoes, breakfast sausage, smoked pork steak, eggs and sorghum.FYI They grow their own sorghum, harvest, squeeze the sorghum with a horse powered circular mill then cook it down and can it in pint jars.We love it best on homemade yogurt. We also give it away as gifts to friends during the holidays and they love it ! End Of The Road is a great way to "Eat Local" and have an enjoyable experience visiting a farm.

Where to start? Our second year with Lee, Jennifer, and their adorable children just ended, and we can't begin to say enough great things about our experiences. From the outstanding produce (with their lettuce being the ONLY kind that agrees with my hubby's sensitive tummy) to farm-fresh eggs and bacon that our friends and family rave about and the weekly yogurt my daughter devours, their offerings are par excellence! Add to that their always-friendly demeanor and welcoming attitude along with a no-pesticide, all natural way of growing and raising everything on their adorable farm, and you have a local treasure. We have been excited to watch Lee's progress on his many projects as they diligently work together as a family to bring their dreams to reality. It's exhausting to even think about how hard they work, but the trade-off is a quality of life that money just can't buy...and it shows in everything they do. You won't be disappointed if you have the fortune of being added to the list

Beside being such enjoyable people to know, Lee and Jennifer with their three little ones offer a CSA program that suits my wife and me very well. This is our first season as members and we have been very satisfied. The quality of the organically-grown produce has been excellent. We particularly appreciate having a choice of several options each week and are grateful for being given the chance to have a half-share so that things don't go to waste. We have been members of other CSAs which have not been as satisfactory. We have been so impressed with the Ruff's commitment to sustainable practices and their dedication to their work. We have no hesitation in recommending them to our friends and others interested in buying produce locally and with concern for the environment.

My husband and I have been CSA members here for two years. The produce is grown using organic practices. This is important to me, both for best nutrition and being free of pesticide/herbicides. The farmers have an impressive vision for sustainability, demonstrated in the the farming practices used here on a daily basis. Products are always fresh, quality is high and selection is varied. We have been very happy with the CSA experience at End of the Road farm.
