For 2 years my husband and I have made the 50 mile, one way trip to the 7M Family Farm once a week to stock up on weekly produce. All their produce is grown from organic seeds, is pesticide-free and non-GMO. I refuse to eat anything with poisonous pesticides on it! Sandy, the store proprietor is so nice. The quality, freshness and prices can't be beat. We load up the trunk of the car with vegetables usually for less than $40. These produce purchases would normally cost more than $100 at Walmart or Ingles. We were so excited when Dick, the grower, added the greenhouses. We can now get our fresh produce year-round! If you want the healthiest, freshest and least expensive produce, it's definitely worth the drive to Blairsville through the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. This is our first time trying a CSA subscription. There has been a good variety of fresh produce. The eggs (separate purchase from CSA) have been large, fresh and delicious. We've been pleased with our decision to subscribe to this service.
