best fresh ginger I've ever had!!

Also wanted to mention the personable customer service extended by Custom Gardens. Virginia & Ray sent recipes and instructions for storage of the organic baby ginger. They also wanted feedback once I received the ginger. That communication from them was such a great indication of positive, customer-oriented business!

The organic baby ginger from Custom Gardens Organic Produce Farm is fresher, more tender, and lighter tasting than any ginger from a grocery store. I make juice several times a week so I do appreciate their ginger's very high quality. So glad Custom Gardens Organic Produce has this product!

I just received my order for 5 lbs of fresh ginger and I am thrilled with it. This ginger is unlike anything I've ever seen or bought before. It is so tender and fresh, and it doesn't have to be peeled! I was told that is harvested upon placing an order. Now, when I make my morning smoothies I simply chop it up and drop it into my Vitamix. I no longer have to go through the tedious task of peeling it. It's also nice to know that any extra ginger that can't be used within the first 2 or 3 weeks of delivery can be frozen & used at a later date.

I will never want to purchase the dried out, woody (& possibly pesticide ridden) ginger from the stores again now that I know how good this is. FYI, I was told by a couple of local store managers that most of the fresh ginger in the stores is now imported from China- and that did not make me happy. That is what led me on the quest to find organic ginger--and it is what ultimately let me to this site.

Can't recommend enough. The baby ginger is just beautiful, smells and tastes wonderful. Care and thought was used in shipping the package to me. Package arrived on time and in excellent condition. Wonderful folks to do business with.

The Johnsons' ginger has the energy of "love" stamped all over it. It's beautiful. The taste is warming, mildly hot and delicious. Juiced with apple cider and you've got the perfect health soft drink for the whole family. This rates more than five(5) stars.

Absolutely loved it!

I used this ginger is some teriyaki that I made for jerky and it was incredible! I have also been able to taste this culinary delight in the form of fresh pickled ginger for sushi. It is bar none, THE BEST GINGER THAT I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!!!

This is excellent Ginger and so easy to store in the freezer. Excellent for cooking but my favorite is to make tea. Then I add a splash of milk.

Wow...the taste, texture and color of their ginger is wonderful! Not to mention all the other goodies available at the farm. Have been eating and helping grow the food at the farm for around 20 years and have never been disappointed.

This fresh ginger has become a staple ingredient in so many of my baked goods for The Season. The freshness of the flavor delights and intrigues everyone who partakes.

The owners take the time to meet with each person that comes to the farm and show you around so you can see where your food comes from. Their farm is well maintained and they have wonderful produce. It keeps us coming back year after year.
