Got some pumpkins to carve into jack-o-lanterns. Tried some of the flesh, and it tasted fantastic. Looking forward to making pumpkin pie next season, and baking pumpkin seeds.

Red Hat Melons is the farm represented at Corvallis-Albany Farmers' Markets and other farmers' markets.

Mike Hessel is the grower and not just the developer of the melons that are also at The Melon Shack.

You won't find any booth labeled The Melon Shack at farmers' markets. But other members of the Winn family are present selling meat as Winn Farms.

Confused? Just sample some melon, and you'll feel better immediately.
