I am in the process of updating the information on the Downtown Green Market on this site. I didn't even know this site existed. We are a weekly Saturday morning farmer's market specializing in naturally-grown, producer-only farm products and local crafts. We are a year-round market. Located on the corner of Dixie Ave and Broad Street in Cookeville TN Hours on Sat: 9:00 - 12 noon

Yes, there is a difference in the word naturally-grown and organic. As I have copied and pasted this from the Local Harvest site this is the difference in "using the word organic." If you are currently certified by an organic certifier (a USDA-NOP accredited certification agency) you may list your product as 'organic'. If your farm is not certified, you must refrain from using the word 'organic' to describe your product. www.localharvest.org

Don't you mean organically grown rather than naturally grown? There is a difference you know.

Purchased produce from a vendor. They only put half of what I purchased in the bag. Oversight? Intentional? Accident? Who knows? But I won't be back. And if YOU go I suggest you proceed C A R E F U L L Y.

On a different note, Three Sisters Farm is there and they are good people.

So sorry you feel ripped off. I feel certain that your experience was an accident. Please come back to the market and let us try to make it up to you. I am a vendor at the Downtown Green Market and cannot imagine any vendor ripping off a customer.
