Sunset Valley Farmer's Market is an interesting and diverse experience - fresh produce, baked goods, artisans, and entertainment. It's fun!

The market vendors have a wide variety of products and I enjoy the atmosphere of great people as well as the fruits and veggies.

They have great food and this is such a wonderfully sustainable way of getting it.

There's always something new, and the people make it worth the visit even if I don't need to buy anything.

Because I've been all over the country to many, many farm markets and you are simply the best!

Because they have such a great variety!!! Every time I go I am inspired to cook up something new and exciting. I go every week and buy all my veggies here!!! there is something for everyone and it has become my "Saturday Morning ritual". I love this place. All of our out of town guests come with us and always ask to come back at their next visit. This is the BEST market in Austin!!! I have tried the others, but always come back here!!!!

Such a great variety of produce including many other products like local cheese, soaps, bread, coffee, jewelery. All the vendors are so nice and helpful with any questions you may have.

I love our Sunset Valley Farmers Market because it is close to home, the produce is fresh, clean, tasty, the bread is fantastic and the vendors are all pleasant and helpful. There is a wide variety of items for sale that other markets do not have. I have been to other markets, but our is by far the best.

Sunset Valley Farmers Market offers a large variety of produce from numerous local farms. I love being able to choose from seasonal produce and locally raised meats and cheeses. It offers everything. And it is a lovely Saturday morning ritual.

Because the farmers there are offering wonderful food to feed me and my family! And I get to see them and get to know them. It is just a wonderful thing to be able to shop so directly from the growers.

The Westlake and then Sunset Farmers Market have been an important part of our lives. I enjoy being able to shop from the people who grow my food. My children have grown up with this Saturday morning ritual. The farmers are friendly and informative, and the assortment of foods that are available always allow me to expand my culinary experiences. I moved out of state for a few years and could not find a farmers market with such a vast array of organic foods.

They have the largest variety of organic and locally grown produce and animal products. And they are the most convenient to where I live.

This farmer's market is close to my house and always has an amazing selection of meat, cheese and veggies. It is a wonderful way to spend your Saturday morning!

I love the fresh organic veggies, cheese, eggs, variety of jewelry and crafts, and live music, not to mention visits with the farmers. Super experience, even in the Texas heat.

It has a good number of vendors with a good selection of items and it is close by. The availability of pasture-fed meat from several vendors is a primary draw.

It's larger than the other markets I've been to in Austin, and has more variety.

It's easy to get to and parking is great. It has a variety of products. I buy almost all of my jewelry there because what I buy is made by a local lady.

Sunset Valley Farmers Market is the best Farmers Market in Austin. It's accessible, has great variety on produce from local farmers around Central Texas, and great artisans like Terra Wear. The local growers and artists remember you and make you feel like part of the community.

Everything we have bought was fresh and delicious and the vendors were very helpful and knowledgeable in helping us with out selections.

We go there frequently for fresh vegetables, pasta, plants, eggs, etc. They have great music each weekend and is well worth the trip!! WE LOVE Sunset Valley Farmers Market.

This market has some of by far the most pungent, fresh, happy produce in Austin. Thats realy saying somthin' with all the "super-gormet" markets we have in town.

I love the variety of vendors that are at the Sunset Valley Farmers Market. I also enjoy that it has catered to family/children events and is 5 minutes from my home.

Although I haven't been to any farmer's markets in quite some time, my boyfriend and I had a great time picking out some fresh produce for this coming week. I so look forward to visiting these friendly folks again next week and be better prepared with a cooler to pick up some shrimp as well. :)

They always have a large assortment of high quality meat, produce and miscellaneous items and it always feels like I am at a festival when I go there. I always look forward to Saturday mornings.

All local and all hand-crafted makes this market a true Austin experience. The variety of vendors is superb, and the layout makes it very easy to find what you need. Plus, the entertainments for kids and live music under the shade top make it easy to take the whole family.

wonderful selection of fresh produce; friendly atmosphere; great location; plenty of parking; dog friendly; kid friendly; wonderful variety of vendors. It is a terrific opportunity to support local farmers as well as a fabulous benefit to those of us who love fresh produce and do not have the capabilities to grow it ourselves. The vegetables and eggs taste so much better than what is available in stores and I feel very strongly about supporting the vendors' efforts. Farming is hard work and I truly appreciate what these folks do; and it is healty and yummy! Another plus is the opportunity to teach our young people about eating healthy and where our food comes from, etc. As a former teacher, I could make a number of lesson plans based on the farmers market.

I love the people and their products. My family and I look forward to buying our food from our friends each weekend.

The market has terrific farmers/growers with excellent seasonal produce, meats and other vendor items but the family (including animals) friendly atmosphere with live music makes it great.

Super fantabulous fruits and vegetables---NOT FOUND AT LOCAL GROCERY STORES!!!!! Although my grandkids LOVE the "carnival" atmosphere, I prefer to shop without them so I can maximize my food choices!

Sunset Valley Farmers Market is my regular Saturday morning stop for veggies, tea, soap and community. It's a breath of the local real amidst a world overwhelmed with corporate and franchise falsity.

The booths are wonderful! They have tons of great vegies, meats and especially artists.

Great location, super friendly vendors, fantastic produce at good prices, always nice and clean, and it's a joy to see all the children and people bringing their dogs. So cool!! I love this place!

They have a huge selection each week, with decent prices, and they have music, entertainment, parking is never a problem and everyone is super friendly. I love going to the farmers market!

The school district built a massive athletic facility in this location and until the market came it was a cold and unwelcoming slab of concrete you could see from Mars. Now, with this magical market that serves so many farmers with a place to vend their good and the shopper a place for buying healthy food, this parking lot has been transformed! Love, love, love this market! I get honey, eggs, fresh flowers, veggies...and yes, even organic treats for my pup! Everyone is friendly. The site is clean. The vendors helpful and happy to be there!

I visit every time I am in Austin (which is often) and it's often the highlight of my trip. It does make me a little sad, though, because there is *nothing* like it anywhere in Del., or even in Philly. The vendors, the food, the music, the whole vibe - just outstanding!

This market is a gathering of organic farmers and pasture fed ranchers from our area. With the local musicians, artists and craftsmen and bakers this is truly a joyous place to shop. If you think Texas doesn't get it visit this market and you will be enlightened.

I love the local farmers produce. You can taste the freshness of the vegetables and fruit. It is so hard to find grass fed meat and Sunset Valley Farmers Market actually has a vendor that provides this for me and my family.

Sunset Valley Farmer's Market has great parking and is very kid friendly. The farmers are knowledgeable and friendly.

My five-year-old grandson and I are regular customers of this wonderful farmers' market. Our favorite Saturday-morning thing to do is buy our tomatoes and other great veggies, then have a seat and listen to the live music - or sometimes to dance to it. Whenever we pass the location during the week, he always asks if we are going there now.

Varied fresh organic produce dominates the market. A few other things like locally preserved foods, handmade soap, etc. Feels like a farmers market and not a saturday fair w/too many other things going on so its easy to shop for what you need food wise and not have to wade through a crowd of event go-ers and people just hanging out.

I arrange my Saturday mornings around the Farmers Market. Nothing gets in the way of my weeks veggie shopping at the market.

First, my favorite reason to go there: Organic locally grown non-GMO* produce including greens, squash, tomatoes, lettuces, beans, beets, potatos, green beans, blackberries, blueberries, melons, tangerines, pecans, edible flowers, herbs, peaches and grapefruit, oranges, figs, and apples in season. I really try to keep my body free of "altered" foods and Sunset Valley Farmer's Market really helps me with that. And the people are so friendly and helpful. I always learn new things whan I go there. They are great!

Sunset Valley Farmers Market has the largest selection of fresh produce and a wonderful local artist's presence. There is local music each week, beautiful jewelry, pottery and crafts. I love buying from the human that made it! The sounds and smells are worth the heat every week! You can even have a poem typed on the spot while you shop by a local poet! What more could you ever want??? SHOP LOCAL & FEEL FANTASTIC!!!

I love the Sunset Valley Farmer's Market! The variety of produce and other products is amazing, and I always find a few treasures every time I go. Last week, for example, I found one of the most perfect, tasty melons I've ever had in my life. The music is great, the coffee is great, the vendors are very friendly and offer great products. After buying produce at the SVFM, nothing at the grocery store ever compares.

The vendors are reputable and stand behind their crops. I have gone most Saturdays and have always been satisfied, more than satisfied with the produce and vegetables I purchase. The taste is superb compared to the grocery buys. It's healthier; tastier; and the appearance of the products themselves will tell the story. You can just see the vitamins and minerals is the crops.

Sunset Valley Farmers Market requires that all products are actually made by the vendors. It is all non toxic and free of dangerous chemicals. It is fun with music and acts and kids and books and people from all walks of life. It is true 'Austin' in that it is genuine and positive. It is not just a shopping trip to go there, it is a real community experience!
