He has provided the best organic produce for Asheville for many years. This guy's passion for organic, non-GMO products really shines in his products. Certified organic, beautiful, natural soil and water, lovingly tended to. Only the finest produce makes it through their rigorous quality control and the items they bring to market are a perennial favorite for locals who want, and know,where to get the best. Try Jakes Farm, the original, and still the best.

My wife and I did a CSA for the first time ever last year with Jakes farm. We are vegetarians and lived off of the food we got in the box.There was always an abundance. The growers were great and included fun surprises like recipes that you could make with the weeks' loot, or exotic goodies like fresh figs or apple mint. Our only disappointing week was the last one when we realized we'd have to start grocery shopping again. We can't wait for this year.

My family and I could not wait til each Tuesday. Each week was better then Christmas. What surprise was in the CSA box? Everything out of the box was so delicious and fresh. My neighbor and I shared a box. We had so much fun trading kohlrabi ideas. We even fought over the sweetest tastiest juiciest strawberries.

The variety was so amazing. Different types of salad greens, beans, and tomatoes. The snap peas were so good and fresh we ate them raw, right out of the box. Root veggies like parsnips and potatoes. And the special treats edible flowers, jams, and tomato essence. WOW. I have been with other CSAs and none compare to the variety and seasonal length offered by Jake's Farm.

Next season my neighbor is getting her own box.
