My wife and I stopped in at the local farmers market in Lakeland and came across some nice smiling faces from Polk city. The ridge island groves family was a pleasure to do business with that day. Their eggs were so tasty and their orange juice was absolutely unforgettable! We bought a chicken as well and cooked it up that night. It too was a tasty meal that we were able to enjoy for the rest of the week as we had leftovers for days! Thank you guys for being an awesome community partner in insuring wholesome foods and goods for my family and others!

I was pleased to find out that Ridge Island Groves is now selling meat chickens and fresh eggs. This is HUGE for our area. The meat chickens are White Cornish Rock Cross Broilers. They receive NO vaccinations or antibiotics and are feed with non-medicated fed, along with what they get from the pasture. I pre-ordered 6 and will pick them up today. I'm super excited. We also bought hydroponic lettuce and eggs earlier this week.

Of course all of this is on top of their oranges, honey, peaches and blueberries.
