When I visited this large operation--they supply specialty potatoes to Costco, among other stores--on a local farm tour, I asked the owner his opinion of the production of GMO crops. He justified his apparent approval of them with a comment to the effect that GMO technology enables the farmers to feed larger numbers of people.

Sorry, can't endorse this farm's Big Agra philosophy.
