This half-baked vegetarian simply loves Nightfall Farm products! Once a month, I get this incredible chicken, for which I scout and rummage through cookbooks in order to find a recipe that will allow me to honor it and do it justice. And I used to be someone who doesn't like chicken at all, period. The first bite into a Nightfall chicken instantly converted me -- it tasted of grass, flowers, earth, grain, sunshine, petals, leaves but also of chicken! In other words, it revolutionized my knowledge of what a chicken can be. But Liz & Nate do so much more than raise scrumptious and delicious meat, which is also antibiotic- and hormone-free . They work with the earth, the soil, the plants, the feed, and the community. Their holistic farming program takes every aspect of farming into consideration, including soil improvements, feed quality, and land restoration and conservation. Their care and thoughtfulness are astonishing. Local can hardly be more far-reaching nor more delicious!
