Reviews for: Boone County Farmers Market

Last Saturday I got peaches, onions, potatoes and herbs at the Market. Everything is fresh and tasty. But the peaches are unbelievabley sweet, grown only 12 miles from town. Loved talking with the growers which makes our food production and consumption so much more personal and even understandable. At the far end of the Market was an artist who had beautiful paintings created with no paint, just ground up leaves, flowers and soil to make her colors. Believe me they are lovely. I bought one to hang in my kitchen and remind me of the Earth's bounty and blessings. It was a great day at the Market. Thanks to all the growers! Edelle Rose
