61st St Market is one of the leaders of the farmers' market movement and runs many excellent programs including EBT/Link processing and double matching grants that help shoppers from all income brackets eat well. This market keeps a balanced selection of vendors coming back each season to provide vegetables, fruit, honey, lard, herbs, bread, prepared foods, and what our farm sells, organic-grassfed eggs, poultry & meats! This is definitely one of the best farmers' markets in the Chicago area, and runs year round, setting up outdoors May-Oct and indoors the lovely Experimental Station building Nov-April.
