Kunia conventional farm practices ruined the land and now has forever toxic chemicals. The water too tests high levels of toxic chemicals. Organic farming is the best way to restore the soil. Conventional farm practices, GMO's and the Chemical Biotech Giants are not for the people or land. They are profit driven they grow the GMO seeds, sell the poison sprayed & absorbed by GMO crops and then their pharmaceutical sells the drugs for the cancer their crops caused.

Eat Healthy best to grow your own or buy from local Organic Farmers or online Organic Farms in clean agriculture areas. Avoid Kunia area as Soil has been polluted for years from Heptachor used on Pineapple fields in 1980's. In 1982 the Department of Agriculture's pesticide use/misuse investigation, the State cited Del Monte and issued a warning to Dole for premature harvest of fields sprayed with heptachlor.
In 2016 more Toxic Pesticides and Herbicides are being used in Kunia at MONSANTO's Huge Toxic Bio-Tech Chemical compound doing Genetically Modified Organism (GMO's). Good to be aware of where your food is sourced. Also be informed on harmful effects of consuming GMO's. See GMOevidence.com

Yes Kunia has pollutants in the soil and water most from conventional farming. My chemist associate did testing of the pineapple leaves at UH and Heptachlor present. Many other toxic farm practices have ruin the land there.
