Highlands farmers market provides a wide range of vendors. Everything from multiple fresh fruits, vegetables, bread, local meats and other foods to soap and jewelry. They also provide a great selection of food that can be eaten immediately from tacos and rice to hotdogs and crepes. It is located near center of town and provides plenty of close parking for its citizens. Adjacent to the parking lot that the market sits is a playground for the kids. It's such a wonderful day coming to the market to shop, eat, and play with the kids.

I love the fresh fruits and vegetables for my family . I want to show financial support for local farmers and vendors. It also makes for a fun
Saturday morning with my family and our dog. We go and shop, eat and play. There is even something for our dog Brandy. Fresh, organic dog treats. All the vendors are always friendly and appreciative of our business.

We really like the fresh produce, the short drive to see what's going on from week to week and visiting with friends we see there. There's a real sense of community surrounding the street market--and even more so in its present location!

I adore this place. I'm there 9am sharp every single morning. Being a vegetarian myself, I couldn't be happier with the selection and/or vendors. Truly the highlight of summer in Highland, IN.

It is really a street market in a slower-paced environment. Small downtown with alot of charecter and right next to a park and beautiful gazebo. I enjoy all the beautiful flowers and farmers produce every Summer/Fall. The vendors there sell really great stuff. Vendors there are always so friendly! It is a dog-friendly street market, which supports a nice sidewalk around the park and a lovely fountain! A nice place to go in the Saturday Mornings! A great place for small children to play on the playground as Mom/Dad/care-giver shops around.

It seems the local grocery stores are importing produce from out of state. It is great to be able to buy from local growers knowing how much fresher it all is. Also it helps to support your local community.

Our Vendors have delicious local produce. All of our vendors are very nice and welcoming. The location is ideal because it's in a park... kids can enjoy the playground, while parents shop. There is plenty of parking, especially for those with handicap decals. Some of our vendors accept WIC vouchers which is great for seniors or moms in need. The wash rooms are newly renovated and close to the shopping area. Our vendors sell a variety of products that meet the needs of our diverse community: cheese, breads, honey, produce, fresh/organic meats, gourmet dog treats, etc. Our market master has also been selling insulated grocery bags for a reduced rate to promote a "greener" market.
