I tried extremely hard to make an order for 50 lbs of pork from this farm and after I got the original email telling me the prices and who to contact for the order...every email I sent after that (requesting an estimate) was ignored/never answered. I sent them to the individual email addresses they gave me PLUS through local harvest when i got no response. Over and over and never heard any reply. Apparently they don't want the business.

It took over a month to get it as it was out of stock but it arrived perfectly frozen and with dry ice. It doesn't have sugar but it does have honey solids, cloves, cinnamon and something else I think. Doesn't taste sweet at all and you don't see any caramel left in the frying pan. I wish it was cut thinner, my kids won't eat it because it's too thick!

I first met Steve and Janie at the Farmer's Market in Springfield. I bought some bratwurst from them and my family was hooked. My family of 14 (12 kids) has bratwurst at least once a week, typically twice!! Steve and Janie are always a joy to visit with and their product can't be beat.

Everything was frozen solid when it arrived. The pork chops are the perfect size, grilled beautifully & tasted delicious, ditto for the patties. Haven't tried the hot dogs yet but I'm sure they will also be perfect. I am very pleased w/ this farm & will definitely be ordering again. I can never go back to supermarket meat
