Do not use this place, they stole 1/2 my meat! I?ve been butchering a steer a year for personal use for the past 4 years. Very much familiar with the amount of meet (about 400-450 lbs, per 1000 lbs steer) I?m supposed to get back. 2021 being a very unusual COVID year, my usual meat processor was completely booked for the year and I was forced to find a different processor. This year I turned in 3 steers (gifting some meat to family and freinds). My steers were a bit older and larger than usual due to the fact that we had to wait an extra 2 months before they could give us a kill date. I received about 250lbs per animal back which is almost 1/2 the normal amount. Spoke to the owner who seemed clueless. Do not go to them if you want all your meat.
