I have a question. I am getting two ducklings but we are only allowed to keep for a year or so. Would I be able to give my ducks to your farm when we have to give them away? Thank you!

Great care goes into producing these premium QUALITY eggs. Wish I could find eggs of this quality locally, but grateful that I can have these shipped to TN. I am reactive to chicken eggs and was delighted to find these do not produce the same symptoms. After my success with these I searched out a middle TN farm with duck eggs, but something in the local ducks' diet is suspect, so I am making the greater investment to guard my health. Shady Farms ducks really must be living the good life!

I ordered two dozen duck eggs last week and received them within four days. The eggs were delicious and beautiful! Some were blue-ish and others more white. Only one egg arrived cracked. I will be ordering more in the future!

Thank You Allison! We aim to please. Remember we will ALWAYS replace damaged eggs, or refund pro-rata, if supplied with photographic evidence, which enables us to make a claim with USPS. Caroline and John Snyder Shady Grove Farm

These are the most delicious eggs I have ever had -- and I've tried many, many different brands of organic and pastured eggs. The quality is consistent across every order, the eggs are fresh, taste incredible, and are carefully packed. I've yet to receive even a single cracked egg. Highly recommended!

Wow!, Thank you Nate! You're not the first to say "Best Eggs Ever" but you are the first to write it down in a review, and we really appreciate that! People who have visited here at Shady Grove and who have seen how we nurture our animals, have told us that we should call our eggs "Artisan" or "Hand-Crafted", and we do pride ourselves on cultivating happy birds and the tastiest eggs. By the way, you MUST give the duck eggs a go next time, but regardless, we really appreciate your business.. AND if any do get damaged in shipment, we will always replace them!

I ordered chicken eggs several times from Shady Grove. They are very good eggs indeed. Very digestible and fresh. From their leaflet, fed no synthetic drugs or pesticides. Just natural treatments like oregano oil and homemade apple cider. Beats what are sold as organic egg at the supermarket. My french toast cooks up deep yellow, because the yolks are so yellow. These are my favorite eggs

Thank you so much for this review Marilyn, and for your most recent order. We do love it when customers come back time and time again! As you know, John and I put the welfare and diet of our animals right at the top.. I think they eat better than us sometimes, with the custom-ground Non-GMO and Soy-Free diet.. the 5 acres of fenced "back yard" with the acre of spring-fed pond means that our flocks of 75 laying chickens and 71 laying ducks have a 217,000 square feet area on which to free-range.. or 1,452 square feet per bird. Compare to the 64 square inches that is the Federal requirement and adopted by most egg-producing "factories" and you can see why our eggs taste so amazing! Find Shady Grove Farm and the English Baker on Facebook for some great videos and photos of life on the farm, and some of the stories on the natural healing methods that I use on any sick or injured birds for inspiration. Everyone says that the flavour is incredible.. that deep orange yolk.. and those things are all about the diet, AND keeping birds going YEARS longer than other producers who cull at 18 months. Our oldest layers are 3 years old.. they don't produce huge numbers of eggs by that time, but the eggs are larger, and the flavour is richer than a "young" egg. These are probably the "cleanest" eggs that you will ever taste!
