My hunch about this olive oil was spot on. I positively adore garlic and my tastebuds are well acquainted with really good EVOO. As soon as it arrived I poured a small amount, pulled off a chunk of bread, dipped it in, noted the pleasing garlic aroma then popped it into my mouth. I was in heaven. I'll be ordering my 2nd bottle soon along with some Myer Lemon olive oil. Bring on the salads!

I've been using the Menachos Olive Oil for years now. It is consistantly great year to year. I have up graded to the 3 liter Mission Blend from the smaller bottle. Your food will truly taste better, trust me- buy farm fresh!! Thanks guys, 5 stars for Olivas de Oro.

I found out about an event at the Olivas de Oro tasting room through local harvest and went by to taste their olive oils. They were wonderful, very flavorful and fresh. I got to tour the property and taste some foods made wtih their olive oil and vinegars. They were all simple and delicious. The owners, Frank and Marti, were very personable and passionate about what they are doing! I would highly recommend visiting their tasting room and buying any of their products. Luckily I live close by and can make them a regular stop.

I recently purchased the Lemon, Garlic and Mission Olive Oils- and I love them! I got them to spruce up my salads, but have been using them to sauteing everything: my veggies, fish, and even pasta dishes.

I think it's great that Olivas de Oro used their estate grown olives and that they are organic (a big plus).

I also enjoy the recipes that are posted on your facebook page!! They are easy and delicious. **the avocado corn salad was great

My only problem is deciding which flavor to buy next. I'm definitely going to be a return customer, and I recommend this company highly to review readers.

I am very disappointed with this order!!!! I have routinely ordered a pure olive oil soap from Portugal (Abegos) with no problems but I wanted to try something new. I ordered these soaps from Olivas de Oro Olive Company in Calif. through Local Harvest and noticed that when I received the products, soy protein was listed as an ingredient but it was NOT listed on the Local Harvest site when I read the list. I never purchase anything with soy and I would call this false advertising!! I called the Olivas Company directly and spoke to a women who had no care in the world about the situation. I will next contact Local Harvest and see what they do. I would recommend to customers to order things DIRECTLY from the company and not through a third party-this will be the last time I do this!!!
