Is there anything better than an open air market in the middle of downtown Greeneville! It is starting to look like the old days when folks came into town on a Saturday morning to meet their friends and hang out. Now a person can do that while shopping for produce or eggs or meat. Cars parked on Depot Street. People mingling in the closed off market area. Downtown Greeneville is alive and well on Saturday mornings!

Open every Saturday from 8am till noon right in front of the Fed. Courthouse on Depot St. Love this brand new market that features only locally grown or locally produced products. Great location downtown Greeneville. Lots of free parking. The vendors are very friendly and knowledgeable about their goods. Features in season vegetables, plants, herbs, fresh farm eggs, fresh baked goods, alpaca products, fresh meats, locally grown fruit in season, hand made dog leashes, hand crafted cutting boards, signs, local artist paintings, beautiful handmade jewelry, beautiful hand woven pine needle bowls and baskets, flowers, jams, live chicks and chickens, handmade candles, fresh brewed coffee and other locally grown and locally produced products. All vendors either grew or crafted the products they are selling, no buying somewhere else and reselling at this market. Usually has a few great food trucks on site for breakfast and lunch. Local musician plays for donations to local charities. FUN.

This market has been just what the community has been asking for. Being Downtown brings folks to the area, and are able to get fresh produce, unique gift items, like Alpaca socks, and some good ole' fashion home baked goods, fresh eggs, and even chicks of your own. Vendors are freindly, and they always have a full house and an awesome selection. While we are vendors at this market, I am always finding something to take home with me. High quality items at reasonable prices.
