they sell a verity of things there. and as a vendor I enjoy the market every saturday meeting people and watching them meet.

People are friendly, lots of different items and it's growing!! I look forward to going each week.

I support the Downtown Appleton Farm Market because it is an excellent way for people to get together and get some home grown fresh produce.

I grew up in Appleton, the downtown was the hub of our city. I love seeing the downtown closed off and the vendors selling their goods. I hadn't been to the farmers market in a few years and boy has it changed! I was so impressed with the produce, the goods and the vendors that I long to go back again.

Farm markets bring local produce to the people at prices they can afford and produce that is fresh and delicious.

Excellent variety, great event staff, Awesome entertainment for both children and adults at the center of the market.

My wife and I support our local farm market because of the excellent selection of vendors, which in turn, have a superior selection of fruits, veggies and arts and crafts. It also has a wonderful sense of community, as roughly 4000 people come to visit the downtown area every Saturday morning during the summer and early fall.

I love the Appleton Farm market! There is so much yummy local produce and foods. My family and I go each Saturday to support our local farmers and art people. It is a great place to see everything and meet people.

Everything you could want for fresh fruits, veggies and herbs is available. The best part? MY money goes into MY community!

Our local farm market runs from mid-June through October here in northeastern Wisconsin. I eagerly look forward to it with great anticipation every year! For me, the first farmer's market means the beginning of summer and brings with it the promise of warm weather and long sunny days. I have been to many farm markets over the years, and I have to say, Appleton does an outstanding job! There is such a variety to be found here. You can find many unique items like gourmet cheeses (from Wisconsin of course!), handcrafted woodwork, pottery, glassware, Amish baked goods and the best natural soap around! The market also has many excellent organic vegetable farmers that sell unique heirloom variety plants that I have never seen anywhere else. Another amazing attribute of the market is the entertainment. We have musicians playing Chicago-style blues, folk, classical violins and everything in between. You can also find demonstraions by local organizations. My favorite was the performance by the only pre-professional ballet company in Appleton. The kids were amazing!

What a great place to spend a morning. Something for everyone; grandparents and families with children of any age.

They have a great variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, meats and everything else in between. Local restaurants come out and sell their wares and you cannot beat the Hmong eggrolls, they are the best! If you do not have a flower garden, you can pick up beautiful fresh flower arrangements for very little money. All in all, it is a great family outing and there is something for everyone.

It's a GREAT place to draw people's attention to, especially on Saturday morning when you don't have a place to go. It's a way to bring business to downtown to attract people's interests as it used to be years ago. Those business in downtown could benefit greatly from the farm market, because of the people there on that Saturday morning. It's a way to make make everone happy about life and living in the City of Appleton.

it is a collection of the best local producers. Every thing from natural beef, sausage and bacon with NO msg, pet treats and whole grain bakery. and the greatest thing is that this wonderful market goes right on through the winter. (Nov thru March indoors)

1st, the staff is class A. People whom understand people and it shows. I have made all the staff members and the people whom give their time free as friends. Their dedication puts Appleton far ahead of the other cities in the the valley.

College Ave is closed off to traffic. Hoards of people supporting local farmers, merchants and vendors of all types fill the street. A great family event and tasty too! A weekly event my friends and I attend and hate to miss.

Downtown Appleton Farm Market is awesome! There's a great selection of Organics and I love the artisan vendors as well. College Ave. is wide/spacious allowing room to roam, mix, mingle, select, purchase, and enjoy!

It's anticipated every single year and famous for its wide variety of vendors -- honey, wood carvings, fresh veggies, fruit, goat cheese (the curds are the best!) .... the list goes on & on. For a "small town" Appleton's farm market has it all.
